1. Educational Purpose

Pathwell provides education and training related to healthcare navigation, artificial intelligence, technology, advocacy, communication, organization, and related topics.

Pathwell educational content is provided for informational and educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, insurance advice, or a substitute for services provided by a licensed healthcare, legal, financial, insurance, or other qualified professional.

Students should use appropriate professional judgment and seek qualified assistance when a matter requires clinical, legal, financial, regulatory, or other professional expertise.

2. AI and Healthcare Information

Pathwell courses teach responsible use of artificial intelligence and other technology in healthcare-related settings.

Artificial intelligence systems sometimes produce information that is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate for a particular situation. Completion of a Pathwell course does not eliminate the need to independently verify information, protect sensitive information, exercise professional judgment, and escalate decisions to appropriately qualified professionals.

Students are responsible for following applicable privacy, security, organizational, professional, and legal requirements when using AI or other technology.

3. HIPAA and Privacy Education

Pathwell provides education regarding HIPAA, protected health information, privacy, security, and responsible technology use.

Completion of Pathwell training does not make an individual or organization automatically HIPAA compliant. HIPAA compliance depends on the circumstances, activities, systems, policies, safeguards, relationships, and legal obligations applicable to the individual or organization.

Pathwell training does not replace legal advice, organizational compliance programs, workforce training required by an employer, or other regulatory obligations.

4. Certificates and Pathwell Credentials

Students who satisfy the stated course requirements, including required lessons, assessments, passing scores, and final examination requirements, are eligible to receive the applicable Pathwell certificate or designation.

A Pathwell certificate documents successful completion of Pathwell educational requirements. It does not constitute a professional license, government certification, board certification, academic degree, or authorization to practice medicine, nursing, law, or another regulated profession.

Students must not misrepresent the scope or meaning of a Pathwell certificate or designation.

Pathwell reserves the right to withhold or revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, academic dishonesty, unauthorized assistance, account sharing, manipulation of assessments, or material violation of these Terms.

5. Student Accounts

Students are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting their login credentials.

Accounts are intended for individual use unless Pathwell expressly provides a different enrollment arrangement.

Students must not share passwords, provide another person with access to paid course materials, permit another individual to complete assessments on their behalf, or use another person's account.

The name entered in the student's Pathwell account should be the name the student wants displayed on certificates and training records.

6. Assessments and Academic Integrity

Pathwell assessments are designed to evaluate the enrolled student's understanding of course material.

Students must complete assessments themselves unless instructions expressly permit outside assistance.

Attempt limits, passing scores, progression requirements, and other assessment rules displayed within a course form part of the requirements for successful completion.

Pathwell reserves the right to investigate irregular assessment activity and protect the integrity of its credentials.

7. Purchases and Course Access

Prices are displayed before purchase and are subject to change for future purchases.

Payment provides access to the course or product identified at checkout under the access terms stated at the time of purchase.

Purchasing a course does not guarantee successful completion, a passing assessment score, or receipt of a certificate. Students must satisfy the applicable completion requirements.

8. Refunds

Unless a different refund policy is expressly stated at checkout, requests for refunds should be submitted to Pathwell for review.

Refund eligibility depends on factors including the nature of the purchase, course access, course progress, downloaded materials, assessment activity, and the circumstances of the request.

Any specific refund terms presented at checkout or on the applicable course sales page become part of these Terms for that purchase.

9. Intellectual Property

Pathwell courses, lessons, assessments, frameworks, written materials, graphics, videos, downloads, certificates, trademarks, branding, and other original educational materials are owned by or licensed to Pathwell Collective, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Purchase or enrollment provides a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use course materials for the student's own education.

Unless Pathwell provides written permission, students must not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, upload, share, license, copy, create unauthorized derivative training products from, or commercially exploit Pathwell materials.

10. Acceptable Use

Users must not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Pathwell website or learning platform, obtain unauthorized access to another account, circumvent course requirements, scrape or systematically extract course content, or use Pathwell services for unlawful purposes.

11. Third-Party Services and Resources

Pathwell training sometimes discusses or references third-party AI systems, healthcare resources, websites, software, organizations, or services.

References are provided for educational purposes and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Third-party products and services operate under their own terms, privacy practices, features, pricing, security practices, and policies, which change over time. Students are responsible for evaluating a third-party service before using it.

12. Availability and Course Updates

Pathwell works to maintain accurate, useful, and current educational materials. Healthcare, technology, artificial intelligence, regulations, software, and professional practices change over time.

Pathwell reserves the right to correct errors and update, revise, reorganize, replace, or retire course material when appropriate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pathwell Collective, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, instructors, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Pathwell educational content or services.

Users remain responsible for decisions made using information learned through Pathwell programs and for obtaining appropriate professional assistance when needed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Termination or Suspension of Access

Pathwell reserves the right to suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment disputes, security concerns, account sharing, intellectual property violations, academic dishonesty, unlawful activity, or material violations of these Terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

Pathwell may update these Terms as its services, educational programs, technology, or legal obligations change.

The current version will be posted on the Pathwell website with an updated revision date.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any consumer protections or other rights that apply under applicable law.
